@rolle Serious question: are ppl really using threads actively? I remember it taking off initially, then dying (in terms of active users) fairly quickly.
@justinf @rolle depends on if algorithms feeding you posts that you're completely uninterested in, is worth it to you.
That's pretty much the only big difference besides the amount of people to engage with.
It's still very hard to get actual engagement on your own posts unless you're talking to the algorithm.
I prefer to talk to people, not the algorithm. That's why I'm here and will stay here until Mastodon eventually completely takes over. Then I'm out. But I'm here till then.
